The ‘400’ is designed to take the small/medium sizes of clamp-on outboard
motor and the ‘510’ the larger sizes - see transom dimensions in price list.
(Transom height to your requirements).
It can be used as a trolley, a work or storage stand.
It can also be laid on its back and be pushed, sledge like
into the back of a van or estate car etc.
The design of the frame provides many handholds so that the loaded
trolley can be manhandled up/down steps or across rough terrain.

Due to their height, working on large outboard motors is difficult.
Mechanics stand on platforms, steps, tool boxes, etc.,
to reach the higher
components of the engine -
this is obviously not as safe, comfortable or efficient,
as working with their feet firmly on the ground.

The adaptor plate hooks over the vertical edge of

Some ‘PRO-OUTBOARDER-HYD’ users have manufactured their own ‘coffin’ shaped test tank.
With the engine raised and tilted up, the trolley is pushed into position at the ‘head’ end of the tank -
the engine is
then tilted down and raised/lowered hydraulically
to get the propeller at the
correct depth in the water.
The engine can be function tested, run slow or washed through.
Using a flexible drive dynamometer the engine can be run at full power.
We intend to add test tanks to our product range at a later date.
